Disability Support Worker - Multiple Roles across Sydney

We are working with a registered NDIS Supported Independent Living (SIL) provider who are committed to supporting people with varying disabilities and support needs. We are looking for several Support Workers to deliver high-quality, person-centred support that empowers participants to live with dignity, independence, and control.

We’re Hiring Across These Locations:

· Sydney South: Hurstville, Cronulla, Rockdale

· Sydney Inner West: Burwood, Ashfield, Concord

· Sydney Eastern Suburbs: Maroubra, Bondi Junction

· Sydney Hills District: Rouse Hill, Cherrybrook

Role Overview

As a Support Worker, you will support participants to achieve daily goals, build capacity, and maintain safety and stability. You’ll work closely with Team Leaders and families, using trauma-informed and person-centred approaches.

Key Responsibilities

Ø Provide support aligned with each participant’s individual support plan

Ø Deliver personal care and domestic assistance

Ø Support clients in accessing the community, appointments, and social activities

Ø Follow strategies outlined in the Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs) 

Ø Respond calmly and effectively to behaviours of concern or crisis situations

Ø Document progress and incidents in a timely manner

What We’re Looking For

✅ Previous experience supporting people with complex behaviours, trauma, Autism, PTSD, and/or mental health diagnoses highly desired

✅ Strong interpersonal and communication skills

✅ Calm, confident, and professional under pressure

✅ A genuine passion for person-centred care and empowering others

✅ Second language skills highly regarded

Essential Requirements

✅ NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)

✅ Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)

✅ First Aid & CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain)

✅ Current Driver’s Licence 

✅ Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain) 

✅ Reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance

✅ Right to work in Australia
